My Son is in Love with Susie
Thanks to Farmor's 50's CD, we now have a huge fan of 'Wake Up, Little Suzie'. Tubby and Farmor played this song and danced a lot on our recent visit to Sweden. If I even mention the words 'wake up' he says Wake Up Susie. And it's with the soft Swedish 's' since there is no harsh 'zee' sound in that language. [As a funny side note, Hubby can't say fuzz. He says fuss :)]
I have tried to play other songs from that era, namely 'Jail House Rock' but Tubby wasn't having any of that. You know what that means: Wake Up Little Susie....All...Day...Long!!!
And sometimes I have to sing along too.

Wasn't that song banned in Boston because of its content - we love it too
