Cititrees from Citiblocs Make Everything Green! #CreativeKids Spotlight

Building blocks have always been part of childhood, wooden blocks more so than any other type, because wood is a renewable resource. Plus, it is durable for many, many years as well. What will the current generation of children play with, why CitiBlocs of course!  This company has won lots and lots of awards for its creativity-inducing wooden blocks. There are many different colors and collections and age ranges to satisfy.

We got to investigate the CitiTrees set. This is a collection of, you guessed it, trees :) But out of the box I was a little surprised...
...and then I realized these were building blocks so they needed to be put together :)
Tubby was onto it before I could make a move. Once the trees were ready we 'greened' our railway.

After the train crash we decided to change scenes and do a little green-scaping to our police station.
The upper terrace was completely transformed by a whole forest of lovely trees.

And even the jail got some peppy greenery! But it looks like the prisoner has escaped...

I digress.  We had fun with our CitiTrees.  They definitely bring out your creative side. You can put them one place, re-arrange them and then relocate them. I imagine you could even make up a junior chess-like game with them. Now that is an idea!  They are colorful, safe and made to last.  You can just line them up like modern mini sculptures and admire them.

Someone is getting the chance to do just that and whatever creative play ideas he or she can come up with, because CitiBlocs is offering a set to my Keeping Kids Creative winner! Thank you Citiblocs!

  7. Cute, I love toys that have no set purpose and have to be played with in a certain way. I want my kids to use their imagination and play with their toys in all sorts of different ways.
