My husband's great-grandmother knitted a baby blanket for his mother when she was born. That blanket also held my husband and his sister, and now our kids.
ReplyDeleteMy mom passed down a crocheted dress I wore as a baby. My daughter was able to wear it too.
ReplyDeleteI have a beautiful quilt made for me when I was a baby. My friend makes each of her babies a quilt out of the clothes they wore as a baby and if I learn how, I would love to do that for mine
ReplyDeleteI have a 60+ year old crocheted dress that was made for my mother, then my daughter wore it when she was little.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmother wrote a little book and she gave everyone a copy for Christmas! It's so cute. :) Also, my other Grandmother was a gifted sewer, and she made quilts and a puppet I used to play with when I was younger.

ReplyDeleteWhen I got married my Great Aunt gave me an afgan blanket as a present. I love it so much and then she gave one to my son as well when he was born. She passed away in january and I will treasure it forever.
