  8. I have 2 baby blankets and a few dresses that my mother gave me (made by relatives for her when I was a baby) that I have used with my baby daughter. I am saving them to give to her one day if she has children! (Steph S.)

  15. One of my very close friends (who started out first as my boss for my summer job throughout college) made me a quilt for my wedding. My grandmother has also crocheted several blankets for me!

  21. My husband's great-grandmother knitted a baby blanket for his mother when she was born. That blanket also held my husband and his sister, and now our kids.

  22. My mom passed down a crocheted dress I wore as a baby. My daughter was able to wear it too.

  23. I have a beautiful quilt made for me when I was a baby. My friend makes each of her babies a quilt out of the clothes they wore as a baby and if I learn how, I would love to do that for mine

  24. I have a 60+ year old crocheted dress that was made for my mother, then my daughter wore it when she was little.

  25. My Grandmother wrote a little book and she gave everyone a copy for Christmas! It's so cute. :) Also, my other Grandmother was a gifted sewer, and she made quilts and a puppet I used to play with when I was younger.

  34. When I got married my Great Aunt gave me an afgan blanket as a present. I love it so much and then she gave one to my son as well when he was born. She passed away in january and I will treasure it forever.
