Let's Honor Breast Cancer efforts  And The Loved Ones Whom We Lost To This Ordeal

Did you know that breastfeeding lowers your risk of breast cancer? Besides all the other benefits to mother and baby, this is surely one we should let every woman know about.

How can you look and feel comfortable while at the same time reducing your odds of getting breast cancer? The Naked Nursing Tank has a few options. I personally love everything bamboo, and they offer both breast pads (new and awesome!) as well as the original and signature nursing tank. They were on Shark Tank!

The bamboo nursing tank is soft and stretchy, comfortable and pretty with the rounded straps and shearing at the bustline. It keeps you modest while breastfeeding in public and adds a little style to any outfit since it sits a little lower than most tops. It covers your torso and a little of the hip area. As I am older and wider (let's get real) I prefer my clothing to be a little more substantial and modest than I ever wanted before children.

The bamboo nursing pads were a huge surprise. I was expecting some standard fabric pads, but it was certainly not the case! The pads come in 3 different sizes and styles. There are large ones for the early days and nightime use, great for a lot of coverage and leakage. There are tiny ones I really like for day use since I don't seem to leak as much when baby feeds sporadically in the day. Both this huge and tiny pads are terry-like on one side and leak-proof on the other side.

The real surprise part of this bunch of pads was the medium size. It is much, much thinner and contoured. I favored this for the few times I went out and expected to nurse. The shape and thinness made them almost invisible under my clothes. I could be my care-free self while doing some thrift shopping or a Target run. They are so thin and handy that I can hand wash them and hand to dry so that they are ready for my next outing. I think these were my favorite of any nursing pads I have tried over 3 littles!

Be sure to check out the color selection of cotton and bamboo tanks, nursing scarves, and nursing pads at The Naked Tank. Put it on your registry or show a new mama some love and get her one!
